Mass Emergencies 1975–1979 Now
Available Online
In 1979, the peer-reviewed journal, Mass Emergencies, was abruptly terminated after only fourteen issues
had been published. Now the entire contents of these hard-to-find issues (as PDFs)
are available free of charge on the Internet.

A Web log (blog) has been launched in connection with the USC Emeriti Center’s retiree computer
Help Squad. Tutorials
illustrating various common tasks such as downloading and installing new applications (software) and using tabs in
browsing the Internet are available.
Podcasts for USC Retirees
Begun
A new series of podcasts has been launched. Topics covered will deal mostly with help for computer and
Internet-related problems, although other topics such as upcoming events will be included as well. These
podcasts are also available
through iTunes.
